The Price Will Come Back
"The price will come back," is what a cranberry grower told me. When a man says the price will come back don't you laugh at him and don't you laugh at him and don't you ask him something cynical like, "What's gonna make it come back?

Not a Farmer
When I turned 21 my dad took me to the tavern in town where farmers sit around and talk. Every farmer who came in would join us there at our table. Then a guy came in who wasn't a farmer but we all knew the guy.
